If you’d like to attend in person, we’ll be meeting at FortWhyte Alive (1961 McCreary Rd) in Winnipeg. If you’d prefer to attend online, our AGM will also be available as a live, virtual event.

Voting on AGM business will take place online in advance of the AGM, between April 21 and May 12.

Between April 21 and May 12, LWF members in good standing are asked to vote on the following motions:

  • Be it resolved that the agenda of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation’s 2025 annual general meeting be approved as presented.
  • Be it resolved that the minutes of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation 2024 annual general meeting, held May 15, 2024, be approved as presented.
  • Be it resolved that the 2024 financial statements provided by Talbot & Associates be approved by the members of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation.
  • Be it resolved that the firm of Talbot & Associates be appointed as auditors for the 2025 fiscal year by the members of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation.
  • Be it resolved that David Horne be elected to the board of directors of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation, for a term of one year.
  • Be it resolved that Bruce Maclean be elected to the board of directors of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation, for a term of two years.
  • Be it resolved that Becky Cook, Scott Higgins, and Jonathan Paterson be elected to the board of directors of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation, for a term of three years.

Our AGM is free to attend and open to all. This year’s AGM is a special one, as we celebrate LWF’s 20th anniversary! We are excited to welcome a special guest panel comprised of past chairs of the LWF Board of Directors. Our panelists will discuss LWF’s growth and evolution over the years, share their perspectives on our successes and challenges, and reflect on what it means to be an LWF member.
