Our AGM is free to attend and open to all. This year, we are pleased to welcome special guest Mary Agnes Welch, principal at Probe Research. Mary Agnes will explore the influence that public opinion can have on policy.
All LWF members in good standing have the right to vote on AGM business. To renew your LWF membership in advance of the AGM, please visit lakewinnipegfoundation.org/donate.
Important reminder to all LWF members:
Voting on AGM business will take place online in advance of the AGM, between April 23 and May 11.
AGM business
Between April 23 and May 11, LWF members in good standing are asked to vote on the following motions:
- Be it resolved that the minutes of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation 2025 annual general meeting, held May 14, 2025, be approved as presented.
- Be it resolved that the 2025 financial statements provided by Talbot & Associates be approved by the members of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation.
- Be it resolved that the firm of Talbot & Associates be appointed as auditors for the 2026 fiscal year by the members of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation.
- Be it resolved that Cheryl Bailey, Beth Edwards, Ashley Hearn, Leigh Patterson, Meghan Tooley and Helen Yestrau be elected to the board of directors of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation, for a term of three years.
